Human Rights Special
On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This year it will have its sixtieth anniversary.

An anniversary always is a reason to celebrate and to think about what happend.
Human Rights Festival in Second Life
Inspired by the discussions and the call for Projects people in SL started to prepare a SL Festival of Human Rights. Festival activities are spread over the grid and there are a lot of live music events in places, where themed art is displayed and where people can get information about human rights in general or on more specific topics.
Inworld you can get a small travel HUD that will help you to visit the festival activities beginning at 10th of december 2008. Events which are part of the festival and marked as such in the Second Life Event Listing are listed starting with HRF in the SL Live Music Event Listing.
Call for Projects
We want you to create projects to celebrate the anniversary and discuss the human rights and how they are realized or in danger or what they mean for our societies. Please read more in the Call for Projects, which is also available as text version.
